After the draw at the UiTM Shah Alam Stadium last weekend, the Red Giants vowed to give their all up for the next action against the Sabah on September 4 at the Likas Stadium, Kota Kinabalu.

The last time Selangor against Sabah was in the Malaysia Cup 2018 group stage competition (group D) where the Red Giants lost 1-2 to the Rhinos at the Shah Alam Stadium.

However, Selangor will fight hard to change the previous script for the first match in Kota Kinabalu, this Friday after two years.

Selangor Head Coach, B. Satiananthan stated that his players are ready for this match even though it is not easy to beat the hosts.

"They are not easy to beat, especially at home. However, I am confident that the players are ready and will fight well and work hard to get 3 points from this game," Satiananthan said.

As for the players, A. Namathevan and Hakim Hassan are still not available due to injury factors.

The Red Giants' latest position in the CIMB Super League 2020 chart is in 8th place with 6 points accumulated as a result of one win, three draws, and one defeat, while Sabah is in 11th place.

Hopefully, Selangor will achieve three full points in this match and will be able to continue the winning momentum until the end of CIMB Super League 2020.
